Donald Long Duck Race
The Donald Long Duck Race was founded in 2004 to add excitement and an alternative recreational outlet for conference attendees. Donald Long and Di Quynn Reno were the founding coordinators of the duck race. In 2008, the race became the “Donald Long Duck Race”, honoring Donald, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.
Donald was a huge supporter of MRPA and the RALS Branch. Keep an eye out on Tuesday and Wednesday for RALS Duck Sellers so that you’ll have your very own duck to cheer on in the race.
All conference attendees and guests are encouraged to join us for the race with or without purchasing a duck. The event will provide an opportunity to network, socialize, and remember how fun it is to recreate with our friends and colleagues.
