Food Modifications

MRPA strives to create a safe and inclusive conference for all attendees. In order for us to better accommodate everyone, we include a question about food allergies, religious and/or dietary preferences in our registration process for attendees, speakers and exhibitors. The answers help guide our selected food options. Please note the kitchen is not a kosher kitchen.

Inclusive Speaking Checklist & Equity Language Guide

The MRPA SJREI Inclusive Speaking Engagement Checklist and NRPA Equity Language Guide are resources to help park and recreation professionals develop a common language around diversity, equity and inclusion. It includes content from leading language guides, as well as numerous organizations, associations, researchers and more who are at the forefront of bridging gaps in equity through language.
